Day 2 – A Book that made me Smile

I picked this book by accident and I must say it indeed made me smile. It was a very sweet book and I finished it in two sittings. This author was my first timer and I look forward to reading her books for May TBR.

Blog 13: The Reading Rush – Update 1

Dear Readers,

Today being the 16th April – The Reading Rush 2020 has officially begun. I am participating like how I had updated sometime back in my blog.

Day 1 – Reading in my Study

For this I picked up Seth Godwin’s – The Dip. I did a non-fiction book and I must say I liked the book. Also made a note of other books I wanted to read by the same author.

So day 1 is completed successfully and I am stoked. May this reading storm sprinkle the happiness around.

Blog 12: Book Reviews – #mrsswiftnibbookreviews

Dear Readers,

How is Sunday treating you all? Happy Easter! How is the Lock down coming along? Sending lots of positivity your way. Stay Positive, Stay Motivated and we will come through this crisis.

For a few days have been mulling the idea of starting to Review Books I read. I hope it’s a good idea. This is something I will be starting next month. I have designed the format and the reviews are solely based upon my opinion. Also I will not be giving out any spoilers.

I will be posting one book review per week, irrespective of how many books I have read for the week. So per month, there will be four blog posts on the reviews.

My Book Review Format will contain,

  1. Title of the Book
  2. Review of the Book
  3. Genre
  4. No. of Pages
  5. No. of Stars
  6. Recommendation on a Scale of 1 : 5, 5 being the Highest
  7. Main Characters of the Book
  8. A Brief Story without any spoilers.
  9. Take Two – Will recommend two books by the same Author
  10. Lastly will mention how many books I have read by the same Author or is it my First Time.

Hope this is exciting news my fellow bibliophiles. Rest assured there will be no jabberwocky and pleonasm in the reviews. I hope you all stay tuned for this new piece of my blogging starting May 1st 2020.

Blog 11: Adrenaline Rush for Bibliophiles

I have some thrilling news. It is here and I am all game for it. Without further ado, I present to you #thereadingrush of 2020. My excitement is beyond words and I am participating in this reading rush.
